This Year 6 Using Dashes to Mark Boundaries Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to use dashes to mark boundaries between independent clauses. Pupils will answer true or false about dashes in a sentence, select sentences that have not used dashes correctly, highlight the text that would come between two dashes, select sentences that have used dashes correctly, and add a cross to a sentence to show where the dash should be placed.
