Teacher Specific Information
The aim of this Year 6 Synonym Matching Activity 1 is to build upon known vocabulary by introducing new and varied synonyms. Cards are clicked to reveal vocabulary, and the position of each card needs to be memorised in order to match the synonyms. This game covers the Year 5/6 objectives to use root words to understand new words that they meet and the Year 6 objective to recognise how words are related by meaning.
