This Year 6 Semi-colons Game checks pupils’ understanding of using semi-colons to mark boundaries between independent clauses and using them within lists. Children will match clauses using semi-colons, add semi-colons to the correct places within sentences, sort two sentences into a table of correct and incorrect use of semi-colons, place a tick in the correct place where semi-colons are needed within a list, and drag and drop to bin the incorrect use of semi-colons.
