Year 6 Recognising and Using the Passive Verb

Teacher Specific Information

This Year 6 GPS Recognising and Using the Passive Verb activity checks pupils’ understanding the passive verb. Children will select the sentences that use a passive verb, rewrite sentences using the passive voice, drag and drop to complete a passive sentence, select active or passive to show the type of sentences given, and rearrange words in a sentence so that it is written in the passive voice.

This activity is linked to the Classroom Secrets Year 6 GPS scheme of work.
Questions in this activity are based on the content in Spring Block 2 Steps 2 and 3 on the Classroom Secrets website, where you can find more resources.
