Teacher Specific Information

This Year 6 Reasoning Test Practice 4 activity checks pupils’ understanding of ordering and comparing numbers, comparing and ordering fractions, identifying common factors, counting forwards or backwards in steps of powers of 10, and adding and subtracting numbers. 

Pupils will select correct numbers from given selections, organise numbers in given orders, identify common factors, count backwards in powers of 10, and use inverse operations to help solve calculations.

Questions in this activity are based on content taught throughout KS2.

(4n2a) Order and compare numbers beyond 1,000
(5N1) Count forwards or backwards in steps of powers of 10 for any given number up to 1,000,000

Number – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
