Year 6 Make Inferences from a Text Reading Challenge

Teacher Specific Information

This Year 6 Make Inferences from a Text Reading Challenge checks pupils’ understanding of using clues from the text to answer questions. Pupils will read the text provided and consider what evidence gives the reader an impression of the main character, suggest what makes the reader think that the character will act in a certain way, explain why rats are viewed as enemies by the main character and identify which three words suggest that the character is barely in control of their own actions.
