Year 6 Identifying Verbs in Sentences

This Year 6 Identifying Verbs in Sentences activity checks pupils’ understanding of verbs and verb tenses. Pupils will identify verbs in sentences, identify the tense of the verbs, complete sentences using appropriate verbs, identify when a noun is being used as a verb, and identify verbs that are synonyms in sentences.
