This Year 6 Decimals Consolidation Game checks pupils’ understanding of multiplying and dividing decimals with up to three decimal places by integers and 10, 100 and 1,000, as well as converting fractions to decimals and vice versa. Pupils are presented with a series of questions based on these skills set in the context of competing in a triathlon to try and raise money for a charity.

Mathematics Year 6: (6F6) Associate a fraction with division and calculate decimal fraction equivalents [for example, 0.375] for a simple fraction [for example, 3/8]

Mathematics Year 6: (6F9a) Identify the value of each digit in numbers given to three decimal places and multiply and divide numbers by 10, 100 and 1,000 giving answers up to three decimal places

Mathematics Year 6: (6F9b) Multiply one-digit numbers with up to two-decimal places by whole numbers
