This Year 6 Colons to Mark Boundaries Activity is designed to help pupils practise identifying and using colons to mark boundaries between independent clauses. The game comprises 5 questions where pupils will answer true or false about the use of a colon, determine which sentences have used a colon correctly, decide which of the four sentences needs a colon in order to be punctuated correctly, drag and drop a colon to punctuate a sentence, and select a word in a sentence that would follow a colon.
