This Year 6 SATs Arithmetic Test Practice 14 activity comprises 10 questions based on the Key Stage 2 arithmetic assessments. Some questions might require the use of a pencil and some paper to carry out written calculations.

Number – number and place value
(4N2b) Find 1,000 more or less than a given number
Number – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
(4C6a) Recall multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables up to 12 × 12
(4C7) Multiply two-digit and three-digit numbers by a one-digit number using formal written layout
(6C7a) Multiply multi-digit numbers up to 4 digits by a two-digit whole number using the formal written method of long multiplication
Number – fractions (including decimals and percentages)
(4F8) Compare numbers with the same number of decimal places up to two decimal places

(6F4) Add and subtract fractions with different denominators and mixed numbers, using the concept of equivalent fractions
