Teacher Specific Information
This Year 6 Antonym Matching Activity 6 aims to develop pupils’ vocabulary through matching pairs of antonyms. Children are given eight sets of matching pairs, which they need to turn over and memorise in order to complete the activity. This game covers the Year 5/6 objective to use root words to understand new words that they meet, and the Year 6 objective to recognise how words are related by meaning.
