Year 5 Using Dashes to Indicate Parenthesis Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to use dashes to indicate parenthesis. Pupils will highlight the words that make up the parenthesis in each sentence, select the sentences which correctly use dashes to indicate parenthesis, drag and drop the tick to show where the dashes should be placed in the sentence, answer a true or false question and select the words which should be followed by a dash to indicate parenthesis.
