This Year 5 The Log Cabin Activity is designed to help pupils practise recognising and using adjectives and phrases to describe a setting. Pupils will use an image to determine where the scene could be set, select the most appropriate wildlife for the selected scene, complete descriptive phrases to describe the scene, highlight adjectives in a given passage, choose phrases to complete sentences, and drag and drop words to complete the passage.
