This Year 5 Round within 100,000 Maths Challenge is designed to check pupils’ understanding of rounding numbers up to and within 100,000. Pupils will use their knowledge of rounding to 10, 100, 1,000 and 10,000 to help Jake and Elsie complete their game.

Number – number and place value 

Mathematics Year 5: (5N2) Read, write, order and compare numbers to at least 1 000 000 and determine the value of each digit
