Teacher Specific Information

This Year 5 GPS Recognising and Using The Perfect Form in Sentences activity includes 5 questions designed to test pupils’ understanding of recognising and using the perfect form in sentences. Pupils will identify the sentence that does not use the perfect form, complete the sentences so that they are in the given tense, match the sentences to the sentence types, highlight the incorrect past participles, and select the sentences that use the perfect form.

This activity is linked to the Classroom Secrets Year 5 GPS scheme of work.
Questions in this activity are based on the content in Spring Block 3 Steps 7 and 8 on the Classroom Secrets website, where you can find more resources.
