These Year 5 Read, Write, Order and Compare Numbers up to 1,000,000 Practical Activities aim to challenge pupils’ understanding of reading, writing, ordering and comparing numbers up to 1,000,000. Pupils will choose from three different practical activities to practise the skill creatively. They can choose from creating a video to help others, creating their own digit cards to practise writing different numbers, or researching the distance of different places from their home town and comparing those numbers.
