This Year 5 Prefixes Game aims to support pupils’ understanding of prefixes and spelling rules. Children will add the prefixes dis-, de-, mis-, over- and re- to change the meaning of root words. They will explain how prefixes change the meaning of words and will identify correct prefixes used within sentences.
