This Year 5 Percentages as Fractions and Decimals activity includes three questions designed to check pupils’ understanding of percentages represented as fractions and decimals. Pupils will select the percentage and decimal that match the given fraction, fill in the missing decimals and percentages to complete the sentences, drag and drop the correct percentages and decimals to the correct boxes based on the given clues, identify whether the statement is true or false, and solve a multi-step problem.

Number – fractions (including decimals and percentages)
(5F11) Recognise the per cent symbol (%) and understand that per cent relates to ‘number of parts per hundred’, and write percentages as a fraction with denominator 100, and as a decimal
