Teacher Specific Information

This Year 5 Compare and Order Decimals activity includes three questions designed to check pupils’ understanding of ordering and comparing decimals with up to three decimal places. Pupils will place images of place value counters representing two decimal numbers into the correct position to complete two comparison statements, write the decimal numbers at different intervals on a number line, identify the sets of correctly ordered decimals, complete three comparison statements, and select the decimal that will fit within a set of ordered decimals.
