Teacher Specific Information

This Year 5 Building Cohesion Game 2 checks pupils’ understanding of using various devices to build cohesion within paragraphs, including the use of adverbials, parenthesis, pronouns and concise noun phrases. Pupils will identify the device used to create cohesion in four sentences, highlight the words that have been used for cohesion within a paragraph, select the most suitable adverbial to link two paragraphs, state whether a passage is written in the correct tense and drag the parenthesise to complete the passage to create clarity and cohesion.
