This Year 5 Arithmetic Test Practice 2 activity comprises 10 questions based on the Key Stage 2 arithmetic assessments. Some questions might require the use of a pencil and some paper to carry out written calculations.
National Curriculum Objectives
Number – number and place value
(3N3) Recognise the place value of each digit in a three-digit number (hundreds, tens, ones)
(4N3a) Recognise the place value of each digit in a four-digit number (thousands, hundreds, tens and ones)
Number – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
(3C1) Add and subtract numbers mentally, including: a three-digit number and ones; a three-digit number and tens; a three-digit number and hundreds
