Use this Common Exception Words Set 3 Year 5 and Year 6 activity to challenge pupils’ knowledge of common exception words. Children are given 10 example sentences, each with four spellings to choose from to complete them. Three incorrect spellings are given with each sentence that address common misconceptions. This game covers the Year 5/6 objective to learn the spellings of specific words.
