This Common Exception Words Set 2 Year 5 and Year 6 activity aims to challenge pupils in their knowledge of common exception words by providing words that are commonly misspelt. They are presented with an example sentence and four spellings to choose from, with three incorrect spellings that address common misconceptions. The words have been taken from the English – Appendix 1: Spelling – Word list – Year 5/6. This game covers the Year 5/6 objective to learn the spellings of specific words.
