This Year 4 GPS Word Families and Words Ending in -sure, -ture or -cher activity checks pupils’ ability to recognise the correct use of suffixes and root words. Children will drag root words to the correct part of the Venn diagram, identify the root words from words using suffixes, identify words that have used suffixes incorrectly, complete words by matching them to -sure, -ture or -cher  and identify words that have used suffixes correctly.
