This Year 4 Two-Step Problems Maths Challenge develops pupils’ addition and subtraction skills and problems solving abilities. Pupils will have to read the clues and work out which two places Jamil could have visited each day by adding two 4-digit numbers. They will then need to subtract the total number of steps from 9,000 to give the answers to the second part of the question.
