This Year 4 Suffixes –ous and –ly Matching Game checks pupils’ understanding of applying spelling rules when using the suffixes –ous and –ly. Pupils will add the correct suffix to the card on the left, and then drag their new word to match the sentences on the right. Pupils need to remember to check that the sentence makes sense once they have made a pair.
