This Year 4 Present Perfect or Simple Past? Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to recognise and use the present perfect and simple past tenses. Pupils will sort the verb forms into present perfect or simple past tense, select the verb forms that have been correctly changed to the present perfect tense, answer a true or false question, select all the sentences that have been written in the simple past tense and rewrite the sentence below in the present perfect tense.
