This Year 4 Perimeter of Rectilinear Figures Maths Challenge checks your pupils’ understanding of measuring the perimeter of a rectilinear figure. Pupils will calculate the total perimeter of a rectilinear figure comprising of multiple shapes, find the total of the missing lengths and compare the total lengths of each shape. This activity aims to challenge pupils’ problem-solving and reasoning skills. Pupils may find it useful to use a pencil and paper to help with calculations.
