Year 4 Fronted Adverbials Game

Teacher Specific Information

This Year 4 Fronted Adverbials Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to recognise and use fronted adverbials. Pupils will determine which fronted adverbials have been punctuated correctly, select sentences that would make sense if the adverbial were moved, rewrite sentences to include fronted adverbials, answer true or false about fronted adverbials, and highlight the sentence that could begin with a fronted adverbial.
