This Year 4 Find 1s, 10s, 100s and 1,000s More or Less activity includes five questions designed to test pupils’ understanding of adding multiples of 1, 10, 100 and 1,000 to a number. Pupils will complete calculations, show the answer to a calculation using place value counters, identify the statements which correctly describe a calculation, write a number sentence to show how a number has been altered and find a missing number by following clues.
