This Year 4 Efficient Multiplication activity checks pupils’ understanding of different methods for carrying out multiplication. Pupils will complete efficient methods by adding in the missing numbers, determine which method shown is not efficient, and use problem solving to determine the starting number of a calculation.

Number – Multiplication and Division
(4C6a) Recall multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables up to 12 × 12
