This Year 4 Descriptive Fronted Adverbials Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to recognise descriptive fronted adverbials within sentences. Pupils will select the adverbials of manner or degree within sentences, select the sentences that include an adverbial of manner, answer true or false about adverbs of degree, drag and drop the tick to show what type of adverbial each sentence includes, and copy the fronted adverbial that best fits the main clause given.
