This Year 4 Arithmetic Quiz covers 10 national curriculum objectives and allows children the opportunity to practise their arithmetic skills.

Number – number and place value

(3N3) Recognise the place value of each digit in a three-digit number (hundreds, tens, ones) (4N1) Count in multiples of 6, 7, 9, 25 and 1000

Number – multiplication and division
(3C6) Recall and use multiplication and division facts for the 3, 4 and 8 multiplication tables
(4C6a) Recall multiplication and division facts for multiplication tables up to 12 × 12
(4C6b) Use place value, known and derived facts to multiply and divide mentally, including: multiplying by 0 and 1; dividing by 1; multiplying together three numbers
