Year 3 Using the Present Perfect Form in Sentences

Teacher Specific Information

This Year 3 Using the Present Perfect Form in Sentences activity checks pupils’ understanding of using the present tense form of ‘to have’ and a past participle form of a verb. Children will identify the correct form of the verbs needed to make a sentence in the present perfect tense; complete sentences, using the verbs given, in the present perfect tense; decide if a statement about a sentence being in the simple past tense is correct; select the correct form of ‘to have’ for each sentence in the present perfect tense and decide which sentences are not written in the present perfect tense.
This activity is linked to the Classroom Secrets Year 3 GPS scheme of work.
