This Year 3 Reasoning Test Practice 2 activity checks pupils’ understanding of numbers up to 1,000, problems involving multiplication and division, unit fractions, counting in multiples of 8 and recognising tenths. After answering the question, pupils may need to select an appropriate explanation for their answer.

Pupils will read a number as words and identify the correct statement, identify the missing number in a calculation, order unit fractions, identify missing numbers in a sequence and recognise fractions as tenths.
