The questions include using the following conjunctions: ‘because’, ‘that’, ‘when’, ‘if’, ‘before’, ‘after’, ‘while’ and ‘although’. Pupils will match the correct conjunction for the sentence, determine if the correct conjunction is used in the sentence, highlight the subordinating conjunctions in the sentence and identify a conjunction that can replace another.
