This Year 3 Complete the Christmas Sentences interactive reading activity presents three activities based around Christmas, including adding nouns to complete sentences, adding verbs to complete sentences and adding adverbs to complete sentences.

National Curriculum objectives:

Year 3 & 4: Apply their growing knowledge of root words, prefixes and suffixes (etymology and morphology) as listed in – see English appendix 1, both to read aloud and to understand the meaning of new words they meet
