Teacher Specific Information

This Year 3 Add and Subtract Reasoning Practice interactive game checks pupils’ understanding of adding and subtracting fractions with the use of problem-solving. Pupils will use their knowledge of problem-solving and word problems to solve the questions. They will, identify the missing fractions for the representations shown, use the fractions to complete the table, select the missing numerators of a calculation, recognise if a statement is correct and select the correct calculation. Each question is supported by a reasoning question to allow children the opportunity to expand on their reasoning and justification skills.
