Year 2 Recognising and Using Past Progressive Tense

This Year 2 Recognising and Using Past Progressive Tense activity checks pupils’ understanding of past progressive. Pupils will determine which sentences are simple present and past progressive, identify if a statement is written in past progressive, determine which words would complete a sentence in past progressive tense, select the sentences that are not past progressive and change a sentence from simple present to past progressive.
