Year 2 Reasoning Test Practice 5

Teacher Specific Information

This Year 2 Reasoning Test Practice 5 activity checks pupils’ understanding of comparing numbers, comparing time, recognising even numbers, use inverse addition and subtraction to find a missing number and use compare data. After answering the question, pupils may need to select an appropriate explanation for their answer.

Pupils will order numbers from smallest to largest and explain which number is the greatest, select the shortest length of time and explain, determine which numbers are odd, add on or subtract to find a missing number and use a block diagram to find the difference between two given amounts.
