Teacher Specific Information

This Year 2 Reasoning Test Practice 4 activity checks pupils’ understanding of solving one step addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems and comparing length. After answering the question, pupils may need to select an appropriate explanation for their answer.

Pupils will identify the correct calculation when subtracting, recognise which number and word does not match, identify the correct calculation when adding, select the correct answer for a multiplication or division calculation and determine which statement is correct when comparing length.
