This Year 2 Position and Direction Maths Challenge aims to extend pupils’ understanding of movement and direction. Children will follow the instructions to plot a journey on a grid. They will use their knowledge of turns, including half turns, quarter turns and three-quarter turns. They will also use their knowledge of clockwise and anticlockwise.
