Year 2 Nouns and Suffixes

Teacher Specific Information

This Year 2 Nouns and Suffixes activity checks pupils’ understanding of using two existing nouns to create compound nouns and adding suffixes to create adjectives.  Pupils will determine which words from a given list are compound words; identify the compound words in sentences, identify which word can have the suffix -ful and -less added to it; create adjectives using the words and suffixes provided and drag and drop suffixes to words to create adjectives.

This activity is linked to the Classroom Secrets Year 2 GPS scheme of work.
