This Reception Matching Numbers to Amounts Game will help children to develop one-one correspondence skills. Encourage children to match the numbers to the amounts by dragging from left to right. They may use physical objects to help aid their counting.

Development Matters

40 – 60 Months
(MN-18) Counts objects to 10, and beginning to count beyond 10.
(MN-20) Selects the correct numeral to represent 1 to 5, then 1 to 10 objects.

Early Learning Goal
(ELG11) Children count reliably with numbers from 1 to 20, place them in order and say which number is one more or one less than a given number. Using quantities and objects, they add and subtract 2 single digit numbers and count on or back to find the answer. They solve problems, including doubling, halving and sharing.
