Children can practise reading sentences by playing this Phonics Phase 4 Sentence Game 3. Children should read the sentence and drag the matching picture into the box to see if they are correct.

This game features the following phase 4 sentences:

  • Plan a trip and spend some cash.
  • Beth and her gran went on a speed boat.
  • The farmer must not tramp on her turnip.
  • I like the smell of flowers in my garden.
  • Drop the desk lamp on the bunk bed.
  • It was dark when Ben and Tom got back from Spain.
  • We will camp in this spot. It is near the park and pool.

Development Matters

40 – 60 Months
(L-R19) Can segment the sounds in simple words and blend them together and knows which letters represent some of them.

(L-R20) Links sounds to letters, naming and sounding the letters of the alphabet.
