This Phase 4 Phonics Match the Tricky words memory game allows children to practise reading Phase 4 taught words. There are matching pairs of words for children to read and match. Every time you open the game, six Phase 4 words will appear. You can re-try the game with the same words and images by using the ‘reset’ button at the end of the game. If you want to play the game with different Phase 4 taught words, do not use the reset button and instead close and re-open the game again.

NB. The words used are taken from Phase 4 Letters and Sounds which have some cross over with common exception words.

Early Learning Goal
