These Check Calculations Year 2 lesson slides have been designed to teach the skills needed to check calculations using different methods. Children will use fact families, part-whole models and bar models to find the inverse. They will also use number lines and objects. The slides are accompanied by a teacher explanation and have interactive questions embedded within to check understanding.
