This Year 4 Recognising Fronted Adverbials 2 Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to recognise and understand different types of fronted adverbials. Pupils will select the sentences that contain a fronted adverbial of manner, choose an appropriate fronted adverbial to complete given sentences, decide whether or not a fronted adverbial is appropriate for a given main clause, complete statements based on four given sentences and decide what each fronted adverbial tell us about the main clause.
