This Year 4 Standard English Game is designed to check pupils’ ability to use standard English forms for verb inflections (was/were/did/done). Pupils will identify sentences that are not in standard English, sort sentences according to whether they are, or are not written in standard English, and complete sentences using the correct verb form.
