Year 2 Describing Turns Game

This Year 2 Describing Turns Game checks pupils’ understanding of describing turns using half, quarter, full, and three-quarter turns, clockwise and anti-clockwise. Pupils will select the label to describe the turn the object has made, complete a sentence to describe the turn Bip has made, identify all the turns a shape could have made, determine which statement is correct and drag and drop labels for the different turns made.

Questions in this activity are based on Summer Block 1 Step 2.
